Not all services at the practice are available under the NHS. Where patients request non-NHS items or services a private fee may be payable.
Click here for a list of our current charges for services that are not provided on the NHS (these costs may change without notice). We have added some frequently asked questions which you may find helpful.
What we do not provide:
Court of protection
Testamentary capacity is a highly specialised area of medico-legal practice. We recommend that your solicitor seeks an expert opinion, for example from a consultant psychiatrist.
Fitness for Parachute Jumps, fit to fly and fit for travel
We cannot advice on fitness to take part in dangerous or extended sporting as this is outside our field of expertise and not part of the NHS service.
Benefit appeal letters
GPs are not responsible for making decision on people’s benefit entitlement. The department of working pensions already has processes in place to request the appropriate information from GPs to enable DWP to make such decisions.
Witness signatures or confirming identity i.e. passport
This can be carried out by other non-medical professionals

Fitness for Exercise or Gym
The risk that harm would come to you by exercising is low, however we cannot say that it is 100% safe for anyone to exercise. The risk is entirely between you and your gym instructor, following the guidelines at the gym of your choice.
Missing a court appearance
Unless the letter has been formally requested in writing by the court, we do not provide these. Your solicitor can advise you further.
