Out-of-hours services are available when the practice is closed, during the hours of 6.00pm and 8.00am.

What to do when the GP practice is closed:

– If you need medical help fast but it’s not an emergency call 111

– If it’s a life-threatening emergency call 999

Local pharmacies provides expert advice on common health problems and many pharmacies have early and late opening hours.

If you receive free prescriptions you can use the Pharmacy First scheme which allows people to go straight to their pharmacist to receive treatment without needing to get a prescription first.
